The authoritiesFollowing an accident on January 22nd near Shin-Yamaguchi Station that left six passengers with serious and minor injuries, an audit was conducted by the Yamaguchi Transport Branch of the Chugoku Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. As a result of the audit, violations of the Road Transport Act and other related laws and regulations were found, and on August 10th, 2026, the Chugoku Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism ordered the suspension of use of four commercial vehicles (route buses) as described below.
We deeply apologize for severely damaging the trust of our citizens and bus users.
We take this punishment seriously and will do everything we can to restore the trust of citizens and bus users by implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
