About refunds
・ Please contact the ICOCA handling counter (see below).
・ The refund amount is calculated as follows.
*If the card balance is 220 yen or less, the balance will be collected as a refund fee.
・You can also have only the commuter pass portion of your ICOCA commuter pass refunded, and continue to use the card as an ICOCA. In this case, the refund amount will be calculated as "commuter pass portion refund amount - refund fee." (The deposit will not be refunded. Also, the remaining balance on the card will remain the same as before the commuter pass portion refund.)
・If you request a refund for a child's ICOCA after the day after the "card expiration date", the refund fee will be 0 yen.However, if there is a refund calculation amount for the commuter pass portion, the refund fee is 500 yen.
About ICOCA for Children
・Children's ICOCA is valid until 3/31 of the year in which they turn 12 years old.
・You will not be able to use the card after it has expired, so please apply for a refund at an ICOCA counter. There will be no refund fee.
