Director's comment
As a member of society, I would like to express my condolences to the fact that a staff member, who is in a position to take the initiative in complying with various laws and regulations and serve as a role model for citizens as a servant of the whole company, engaged in extremely dangerous driving that threatened human life. This is outrageous for a public servant, and it damages the credibility of professional drivers who are responsible for local public transportation. In particular, it greatly damages the credibility of the Transportation Bureau, whose mission is to provide safe and secure transportation, and diminishes the expectations of citizens and bus users. It is extremely regrettable that this has resulted in a major betrayal.
We would like to express our deepest apologies to all citizens and those who use municipal buses.
After the incident occurred, the Transportation Bureau provided strong guidance to all staff to ensure safe and secure operation, and also worked hard to prevent recurrence and do everything possible to regain the trust of citizens and bus users. We will do our best to ensure that.
